![]() Hell yeah man, you'd be nuts not to do this mod if it's within your budget! So the PC V with Ignition Module (16-035) and Dual Channel Auto Tune (AT-300) run $399 each, and the computer software is only available on Windows operating systems, so if you have a Mac, you'll either need to install VMware to have Windows on your Mac roll, or you'll need DynoJet's Digital Display (POD-300) to load maps from the AutoTune to the PC V. That also makes it easy to access when I want to load a new map in. The best part: The guys at Westport Cycles set it up so that both the PC5 and AT fit in the tool compartment under the seat, where it's protected from moisture and the elements better than sticking them to the door of the compartment. ![]() Before I pulled the trigger on this upgrade, I called DynoJet and they claim that the AutoTune is more accurate than a dynamometer, since it creates maps while you ride, based on how you ride, and the realtime weather conditions. I can't wait to see how the bike responds to a map that's fully customized by that device. The AutoTune creates custom maps from adjustments it takes 19 times per minute while I ride, and saves the last five so all I have to do is connect the USB from the AutoTune to my laptop, choose the map that looks the best, and load it up. ![]() Just with the base map that the V loads up, this bike is running faster, harder, and with more response than it ever has in the six years I've owned it. ![]()
